You’re ENGAGED! Awesome! So exciting! Congratulations!!!
Now what?
Where do you begin, how do you start planning your perfect wedding day? I checked in with some of my past bride’s to get a checklist started and also incorporated a few tips from my observations of course!
The Bride’s Guide is intended to help you get ideas and inspire you during the planning stages of your wedding. From make-up, to planning, to dress shopping, flowers, vendors, tips and tricks to help you plan and keep you sane during the process!
You’ve already had a check list for what to do 1 year in advance, 9-12 months in advance, make up tips and now here is more on the planning stages.
Another guest will be joining me in the next couple of weeks too! Stay tuned…
RECOMMENDED 6-9 MONTHS BEFORE THE WEDDING
Now that you’ve already secured your caterer (9-12 month post), you can finalize and decide on the menu…

Decide on what music you want for your ceremony (perhaps a soloist) or use the DJ service you’ve hired for the reception. Also finalize the song choices for first dances and the reception.

Decide on your transportation for the day or book your limousine service. Be sure to keep in mind you may need them if you change locations for “formal pictures”.

Decide on any stationary items you may need for the reception, invitations (if they are not already mailed out), save the date cards or some couples have a “welcome letter” when you get to the ceremony.

Confirm and decide on your wedding favors for guests…

Don’t forget to order and finalize outfits for the mother-of-the bride, mother-of-the groom or any other special participants…

Check your marriage license requirements…

More to come! Happy Planning!
