Granville Island is one of my favorite places in Vancouver. It continually reminds me why I love Vancouver. The setting is magical, romantic and the perfect location for a wedding.
With the crazy rain we have had, I was delighted that the sun was beaming all day long on the day of gary+kathy’s wedding! The ladies got ready at the ever so beautiful Granville Island Hotel. Upon arrival, you could see the glow in kathy’s eyes, for this day, has been 28 years in the making when they first met. If you missed their love story you can read it with their engagement session, however, the fact is after all this time they have finally found their happily ever after.
With a gorgeous ceremony on the terrace of Bridge’s Restaurant, just on the tip of Granville Island, they pledged their love infront of close family and friends. Love surrounded them and everyone knew how long they have waited for this very moment.
When he lifted her up after his speech to her, he spun her around with pure happiness and joy.
Thank you so much to my second shooter/assistant Sandra Hanson for being my second set of eyes!
