There’s nothing more beautiful than the warm air, inviting breeze and gentle calm of the Okanagan.  Having lived in Kelowna for many years, it will always be a family vacationing spot for us.

Back pedal about 7 years ago.  Samara used to babysit my son when I worked nights at Joey Tomatoe’s, when I lived in Calgary.  When she emailed me to “meet in the middle” to take her family portraits, it just so happened that we were both going to Kelowna the same weekend.  How perfect.

I had a clear vision for her family shoot I always wanted to do.  Apples, orchards and beautiful light.  Raven Ridge Cidery  graciously gave us permission to shoot in their orchard and we took full advantage!

Samara + Jason is was great to see you again and meet your newest addition.

joyce quillian - Melissa—i had to write this small not to you to let you know how empressed i am with your artistic eye—If i had the money i would truly want you to take pictures of Ron and me. you captured more than just an image but a feeling. Sam shared your photos on FB for ALL to enjoy. We are Sams faternal grandparents. so it was a real treat for us to see. Sincerly Joyce
