Passion. I need it and crave it, it’s just a part of me. My husband Lance always says, ” it doesn’t have to be sleepless in seattle every night”. So funny, but I can’t help it!
Right from daniel+sandra’s engagement session, a gorgeous “walk in love” themed shoot in White Rock, I knew this couple’s passion+love for each other was going to be beautiful to witness. Just by the way he looks at her and her sweet smiles back is like a fairytale romance novel and I just soak it all up.
This setting was perfect. A cute little village at the Burnaby Village Museum, with a 1920′s theme and little city that was created like a scene from a movie set.
Their love is something you can definitely see but when your around them you can actually feel it. While he lives in Merysville, Washington, she still lived in Vancouver before the wedding, and for the past two years they had been living separately, commuting to and from to honor their commitment to God and each other. Their journey and a new chapter in life now begins as Mr.+Mrs, living as one.
Fairytales can come true…
When I first scouted the location prior to their wedding day, my creative ideas were bursting with excitement! We had so many fun props and stylized shots in mind before the big day, with a set like this, who couldn’t resist to get into the story. With vintage suitcases, a birdcage veil, suspenders and more, daniel+sandra rocked it out for their portraits and the theme, styles and hard work came to life. As mentioned before, creativity + stylized themes will always be a part of my photography and this wedding was so much fun to be a part of.
For all you DYI (Do-It-Yourself) bride’s to be, sandra’s touches on the details of their day were absolutely beautiful. The birdcage viel, ring bearer pillow, envelope box, flower girl basket and pew markers were all made by her mother.
Vendors and DYI details:

With so many ideas, props, effort and stylized photos in mind, I couldn’t help but share so many of my favorites! I know I am sappy but the slideshow gives me goosebumps every time (be sure view it at the end of this post).
Wishing a lifetime of happily ever after’s+fairytale dreams…
xoxo
